AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's basketball team is No. 23 in the latest NABC National Poll, which was released Tuesday afternoon.

Nova Southeastern sits at the No. 1 spot while Fort Lewis and Minnesota State round out the top three teams. Four schools received votes for No. 1. Nova Southeastern had 12 votes while Fort Lewis and No. 6 Northwest Missouri State each had a vote. West Texas A&M, sitting in fourth place, garnered two votes for the No. 1 position.

Head coach Mark Vanderslice's team picked up 43 total points in the poll. The Pacers, along with Cal State San Bernardino (No. 24) and Kentucky Wesleyan (No. 25) jumped into the rankings while Lander, Benedict and Minot State dropped out of the poll.

North Georgia is No. 15 while region foe UNC Pembroke is No. 20. Emmanuel and Lander also received votes in the rankings.

USC Aiken returns to the court this week for a pair of contests. The Pacers play at No. 15 North Georgia on Wednesday before hosting Lander Saturday evening in the regular-season finale.
