PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The No. 5 University of South Carolina Aiken golf team is tied for seventh at the Spring Bulldog Clash.
The 22-team field did not complete the second round of action, which will resume Tuesday morning before playing the final 18 holes of competition.
Barton College is hosting the event, which is held at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club on the par-70, 6,526-yard course.
The Bulldogs lead the field while Coker and Newberry round out the top three schools. Columbus State, Lander and North Georgia are fourth through sixth, respectively. Head coach
Michael Carlisle's team is tied with Rogers State.
The Pacers are currently one-under par during the second round of action.
Oscar Abrahamsson leads the team. He stands in a tie for 14
th place with one hole remaining in the second round.
Rory McDonald O'Brien is tied for 30
th.
Nick Goellner's opening round 69 marked the lowest score for USC Aiken.
