AIKEN, S.C. – The No. 5 University of South Carolina Aiken golf team is set for the upcoming Spring Bulldog Clash, which will take place Feb. 26-27.

The event is hosted by Barton College and will be played in Pawleys Island, S.C.

The Pacers are coming off a second-place finish at the Wexford Intercollegiate where Oscar Abrahamsson garnered co-champion honors.

Head coach Michael Carlisle's team will consist of Abrahamsson, Nick Goellner, Rory McDonald O'Brien, Erik Olin and Jonah Winter.

Abrahamsson leads the team with a 71.4 stroke average. His co-championship marked his first top-10 effort of the season. Abrahamsson has shot par or better in 10 of the team's 15 rounds this season.

Olin sports a 71.9 stroke average and has been consistent all year. He has eight rounds of par or better and has a pair of top-10 finishes to his credit.

McDonald O'Brien's season-low round of 67 is also the best effort on the team this year. He is third on the squad with a 72.3 stroke average. McDonald O'Brien has one top-five effort to his credit this year.

Winter returns to the line-up. He has played in one tournament this year and carries a 72.3 stroke average. Winter's best round of the season was a 69.

Goellner will compete in his second consecutive outing. The freshman carries a 75.3 stroke average on the year. His low round of 68 is tied for second best on the team.
