HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The No. 13 University of South Carolina Aiken golf team took second at the Wexford Intercollegiate behind Oscar Abrahamsson's stellar play.

Head coach Michael Carlisle's team was led by Abrahamsson, who tied for first place. He registered an even-par, 216, on the par-72, 6,884-yard course. Abrahamsson shot two-over par, 74, over the final 18 holes of play.

Erik Olin notched a top-10 finish after claiming ninth with a three-over par, 219. He shot three-over par, 75, on Tuesday.

Rory McDonald O'Brien garnered a 22^nd-place effort after posting a seven-over par, 223. He completed the final round of action by shooting four-over par, 76.

Nick Goellner registered a 31^st-place finish after notching a score of 10-over par, 226.

Justice Hartman finished in a tie for 62^nd.

Georgia State won the tournament, finishing at nine-over par, 873. Carlisle's team shot 13-ov-er par, 877, for the event. GSU's final round was 11 strokes better than USC Aiken's.

East Carolina took third (+21, 885) while High Point and Samford (+25, 889) tied for fourth in the 18-team field. 

USC Aiken was the lone Division II team in the field. 

The Pacers return to action Feb. 26-27, when they take part in the Spring Bulldog Clash, hosted by Barton College.
