HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The No. 13 University of South Carolina Aiken golf team sits in first place after the first round of the Wexford Intercollegiate.

Head coach Michael Carlisle's team shot one-under par, 575, through the first 36 holes of competition.

Georgia State (+6) is second while East Carolina (+12) and Samford (+12) are tied for third. High Point (+14) wraps up the top five schools in the 18-team field.

Oscar Abrahamsson leads the competition by a stroke. He shot two-under par, 172, through the first two rounds of play. He shot an even-par, 72, in the first round before firing a two-under par, 70, for the second round. Abrahamsson leads Gregor Meyer (High Point) and Connor MacMillan (Georgia State) by one stroke.

Erik Olin is tied for fourth. He shot an even-par, 144. Olin posted a two-under par, 70, in the first round before shooting two-over par, 74, for the second round.

Nick Goellner stands in a tie for eighth place after carding a one-over par, 145. After shooting five-over par, 77, for the first round, he shot a team-best four-under par, 68, for the next 18 holes of action.

Rory McDonald O'Brien is tied for 18^th. He shot three-over par, 147, on Monday. McDonald O'Brien opened with an even-par, 72, prior to posting a three-over par, 75, for the second round.

Justice Hartman is tied for 67^th. He shot 12-over par, 156, for the first two rounds of competition.

USC Aiken is the lone Division II team in the field.
