AIKEN, S.C. – USCA women's soccer standout
Mackenzie Cochrane has been named Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators.
Cochrane, a senior from Surfside Beach, S.C., was a standout on the field and in the classroom. She carries a 3.53 GPA in biology.
Cochrane played in 15 matches this season, scoring a pair of goals. The standout played in 51 career contests, earning 50 starts while logging 4,150 minutes along the back line for the Pacers.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution. The cumulative grade-point average may NOT be rounded up to 3.50.
