SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The USCA women's cross country team recorded a 19
th-place finish at the NCAA Regional Saturday morning.
Head coach
Marshall Leonard's team was led by
Gabrielle Jourdain's 76
th-place effort. She crossed the line in 24:21.6, marking the third-fastest time in school history.
Sydney Fallin's mark of 25:48.0 was good enough for 100
th place. Her time garnered a top-10 effort in school history (10
th).
Savannah Hill crossed the line in 26:36.8. The time allowed her to take 116
th place.
Ainhoa Colino was not far behind Hill. Colino finished in 26:49.4 for 120
th place.
Emma Cox was right behind Colino, taking 121
st after registering a time of 26:53.6.
Jenna Couch posted a time of 27:03.1 for 125h place.
Wingate won the meet while Flagler finished second. Catawba took third while Lincoln Memorial and Anderson were fourth and fifth, respectively.
