AIKEN, S.C. - The USCA men's basketball team is No. 11 in the latest NABC/Division II Coaches Poll, which was released Tuesday afternoon.
Head coach
Mark Vanderslice's team sits at 4-0 and picked up 228 total points in the poll. After knocking off UNC Pembroke to start the season, the squad bested Catawba, Washington Adventist and Emmanuel.
Nova Southeastern is at the top of the poll after three full weeks of competition. The Sharks collected all 16 first-place votes and garnered 400 points. West Texas A&M ((384 points), Minnesota Duluth (340 points) and West Liberty (334 points) round out the top five.
Cal State San Bernardino, MSU Moorhead, Ferris State and California (Pa.) complete the top 10 in the poll.
Records are through games played on Sunday, Nov. 24.
