AUGUSTA, Ga. – USCA men's basketball standout
Jalen McCoy has been named the PBC Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.
McCoy, a native of Raleigh, N.C., guided the Pacers to a 1-0 week.
In 31 minutes of work in the win over Emmanuel, he scored a team-high 20 points on eight-of-15 shooting from the floor. McCoy also drained four-of-five from the charity stripe. Additionally, he scored the final five points for USCA in the 78-77 victory.
McCoy snagged seven boards, including three on the offensive glass. He dished out five assists, had a block and a steal in the win.
For the season, McCoy is netting 64.3 percent of his shots from the floor and leads the team with his 23 points per game average.
