AMERICUS, Ga. – The No. 12 USCA golf team finished 10
th at the Hurricane Invitational, which wrapped up Tuesday afternoon.
Head coach
Michael Carlisle's team shot eight-over par, 872, for the 54-hole event.
North Georgia won the event at 29-under par. West Florida (-20) and Georgia Southwestern (-14) claimed the top three spots. Lincoln Memorial (-13) and Anderson (-13) tied for fourth. Lee (-7), USC Beaufort (+1), Columbus State (+3) and Valdosta State (+7) finished ahead of the Pacers.
Oscar Abrahamsson led the way for USCA, finishing in a tie for 16
th after shooting two-under par, 214. He wrapped up the event Tuesday by shooting one-under par, 71.
Erik Olin narrowly missed a top-20 finish after shooting one-under par, 215. He shot even-par, 72, Tuesday, registering a 21
st-place effort.
Karl Frisk took 46
th after shooting five-over par, 221. Rookie
Jackson Beggs was a stroke behind Frisk, shooting six-over par, 222. He tied for 53
rd.
Mitchell McNeill accounted for a 75
th-place finish at 14-over par, 230.
