ALBANY, Ga. – The No. 12 USCA golf team is tied for seventh place after the first day of competition at the Hurricane Invitational.

Michael Carlisle's team shot three-over par, 579, through the first 36 holes of play.
North Georgia leads the field (561) while West Florida (566) and Lincoln Memorial (568) round out the top three teams. Georgia Southwestern (571), Anderson (573) and Lee (574) are fourth through sixth, respectively, in the 15-team field. Valdosta State also posted a three-over par, 579, on Monday.
Oscar Abrahamsson and
Erik Olin are tied for 15
th. The duo shot one-under par, 143, on the par-72 course. Olin notched scores of 69-74 while Abrahamsson registered scores of 71-72 through the first two rounds of action.
Karl Frisk is tied for 31
st after shooting one-over par, 145. After opening the tournament with a 73, Frisk posted an even-par, 72, for the second round.
Jackson Beggs is tied for 47
th at four-over par, 148. He began his career with a 73 before firing a three-over par, 75, Monday afternoon.
Mitchell McNeill stands at eight-over par, 152, after the first two rounds. He garnered scores of 77-75 and is tied for 64
th.
