Earning The PointÂ
Head coach
Nick Sakiewicz's team picked up another point last Wednesday when they played to a 0-0 draw at Lander. It marked the second point of the PBC season the squad picked up via ties – and both were 0-0 contests. Previously, the squad recorded a draw at North Georgia.
Another Clean Sheet
Goalkeeper
Felipe Mattos posted another clean sheet last week with the 0-0 tie at Lander. He turned away four shots on goal in 90 minutes of work. The clean sheet was even more impressive as it marked the first shutout against Lander since 1992. Â
Back To Back Shutouts
Head coach
Nick Sakiewicz's team registered back-to-back shutouts last week. The team went on the road and picked up a scoreless draw against Lander before knocking off Georgia Southwestern by a 1-0 score Saturday evening. It also marked the first time the program has notched back-to-back shutouts since Sept. 20 and Sept. 23, 2017, in a 3-0 win at Erskine and a 1-0 victory over Georgia Southwestern.
First PBC Win
After being close multiple times this season, head coach
Nick Sakiewicz picked up his first career PBC victory last week.
Jose Rabadan found the back of the net in the early going against the Hurricanes for what turned out to be the match-winning score.
Two More To Go
The Pacers have two more regular-season contests, including one more home contest. The Pacers play at Flagler on Wednesday before hosting Lander on Monday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. The match against the Bearcats was originally slated for Wednesday, Nov. 6.
PBC Honorees

Fasaikou Jammeh andÂ
Felipe Mattos picked up PBC honors for their outstanding work last week. Jammeh garnered PBC Defender of the Week honors while Mattos earned Goalkeeper of the Week accolades. It was the second such honor for Mattos this season.
Inside The Numbers
This week, USCA plays at Flagler on Wednesday, Oct. 30 and hosts Lander on Monday, Nov. 4. Since moving to Division II, the Pacers are 44-122-22 (29.3 percent in Wednesday matches and 12-17-4 (42.4 percent) in Monday contests. During the same time, the program is 0-2-2 on Oct. 30 and 1-2-1 on Nov. 4.Â
Against The Opponents
This week, USCA plays at Flagler on Wednesday, Oct. 30 and hosts Lander on Monday, Nov. 4. The Pacers trail the all-time series to the Saints 17-3-1. The Bearcats hold a 44-3-2 lead in the all-time series.
