GREENVILLE, S.C. – The No. 12 USCA golf team is tied for fourth after the first day of competition at the 54
th Furman Intercollegiate.
Texas A&M leads the field at 13-under par. Furman is a mere shot back at 12-under par while Wake Forest is third at nine-under par.
Head coach
Michael Carlisle's team is tied with Davidson at eight-over par, 576. After shooting 295 for the first round, the Pacers shot three-under par, 281, for the second round of action in the 15-team field.
Karl Frisk is tied for 14
th after shooting even-par, 142, on Saturday. He fired an opening-round 72 before shooting one-under par, 70, for the second round.
Erik Olin is a stroke behind Frisk and is tied for 19
th. After shooting three-over par, 74, he wrapped up the day by shooting two-under par, 69.
Oscar Abrahamsson is tied for 23
rd at two-over par, 144. He opened the tournament by shooting two-over par, 73, before firing an even-par, 71.
Mitchell McNeill is tied for 45
th. He shot even-par, 71, over the final 18 holes of play for a two-round 147.
Nick Goellner is tied for 74
th at 10-over par (152).
