Barash's Big Weekend

Senior Mallory Barash had a tremendous weekend at the PBC-Gulf South Crossover. She accounted for three double-double efforts while leading the team to a 3-0 ledger. She posted 48 assists and 21 digs in the victory over Montevallo before notching 44 assists and 13 digs in the victory over Mississippi College. Barash wrapped up the weekend with a 47-assist, 12-dig effort in the win over Valdosta State.  

Araczki's Awesome

Newcomer Gyöngyvér Araczki saw extended playing time in the three victories last weekend and she thrived. Araczki totaled eight kills with a .667 attack percentage in the win over Montevallo before going off for eight kills and two blocks in the win over Mississippi College. She wrapped up the weekend with a 12-kill, three-block, three-dig victory over Valdosta State.  

Different Match, Different Standout

Head coach Glenn Cox's team stands at 9-1 going into league play and in virtually every match a different student-athlete showcased her talents. Through 10 matches, four student-athletes have at least 50 kills while four have double-digit aces. Three student-athletes have at least 100 digs while five student-athletes have at least 11 blocks. 

Inside The Numbers

This week, USC Aiken plays at Lander on Friday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 23. Since moving to Division II, the Pacers are 216-137 (61.2 percent) in Friday matches and 251-151 (62.4 percent) in Saturday contests. During the same time, the squad is 10-2 on Sept. 22 and 4-7 on Sept. 23. 

Against The Opponent

This week, USC Aiken plays at Lander on Friday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 23. The Pacers lead the all-time series 43-12.
