A new beginning at USCA has given
Olivia Moffett the opportunity to continue pursuing the game she loves while finding a place that feels like home.
A sophomore on the USCA volleyball team, Moffett spent her freshman season at McNeese State, where she appeared in just one match before suffering an injury that sidelined her for the remainder of the year. Despite being unable to compete, Moffett's dedication to volleyball never wavered. She found ways to stay positive, support those around her, and remain committed to the game throughout her recovery.
After transferring to USCA, Moffett quickly found herself surrounded by a welcoming community. She reflected on the kindness she has experienced since arriving in Aiken and the relationships she has already built with her teammates.
For Moffett, USCA has provided the balance she was searching for both academically and athletically. Now back on the court with a team where she feels at home, she continues to carry the perspective and appreciation she gained from overcoming her freshman-year setback.
