Recapping Last Week
Head coach
Adam Kleman's team posted a 7-0 win in its lone match of the week. Late in the first half, USC Aiken erupted for three goals before pouring it on with four goals in the final 45 minutes of action against the Warriors.
First Career Win
The Pacers managed to post a 7-0 win over Southern Wesleyan. The victory was head coach
Adam Kleman's first career win. It marked the largest margin of victory in a head coach's first victory in program history.   Â
Spreading The Wealth
Head coach
Adam Kleman's team recorded a seven-goal performance in the home opener. As impressive as that was, even more impressive was the fact seven student-athletes scored goals.

Earning The Shutout
USC Aiken played a pair of keepers in the win over Southern Wesleyan. Both
Emma Gibson and
Kaydence Moore played half of the match. Each recorded a save in the shutout victory.
More Adversity
USC Aiken has seen its share of adversity this fall and then some. Last week, the Pacers had to deal with even more adversity. USC Aiken had its second cancelation of the season. The first one was the original opener against Coker due to weather while the one against Middle Georgia State was canceled due to a COVID issue.

This week, USC Aiken hosts Anderson on Wednesday, Sept. 13 and Lander on Saturday, Sept. 16. Since the start of the program, the Pacers are 46-79-12 (37.2 percent) in Wednesday matches and 46-106-12 (31.7 percent) in Saturday contests. During the same time, the team is 0-3 on Sept. 13 and 2-2 on Sept. 16.   Â
Against The Opponents
This week, USC Aiken hosts Anderson on Wednesday, Sept. 13 and Lander on Saturday, Sept. 16. The Pacers lead the all-time series against the Trojans 6-4 but AU has won the last three matches in the series. The Bearcats hold an 18-5-5 advantage in the all-time series against the Pacers. Â
