ELON, N.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's cross country team recorded an 11
th-place finish at the Elon Friday Night Lights Meet.
Duke won the meet while High Point and Elon rounded out the top three spots in the 14-team field. The Pacers bested Division II schools UNC Pembroke, Barton and Shaw in a field with mostly Division I schools.

Tess Studley's 47
th-place effort in the 4k event. She posted a time of 15:35.5.
Taylor Joop crossed the line in 16:12.3, which was good enough for 58
th place.
Amaiyah Smith was not far behind Joop. She garnered a time of 16:42.1 for 63
rd place. Freshman
Olivia Moriates tallied a time of 17:28.9, which was good for 69
th place.
Bailey Kirkland garnered a time of 17:38.4 for 74
th place.
Alaynah Guthrie's time of 18:15.8 allowed her to take 76
th.
Olivia Robertson took home 77
th place, finishing seven seconds behind Guthrie. She accounted for a mark of 18:22.1.
Madison Hart crossed the line in 19:56.5 while
Kaitlynn Ford posted a time of 21:01.8.
The Pacers return to action next Friday at the Blue Bear Invitational hosted by Livingstone.
