AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's cross country team finished 11
th at the PBC Championship meet.
The women's team was highlighted by sophomore
Charmane Freeman's 24
th place finish (21:44.6). Another sophomore,
Suzanne Farwell, finished with a time of 23:05.0, good enough for 36
th.
USCA men's cross country runner, Bryan Jung, continued his string of top 20 finishes in the PBC Championships this past Saturday at Kennesaw State in Marietta, Ga.
Jung, a freshman from Aiken, S.C., turned in a time of 28:14.2, good enough for 14
th place. Another freshman, Adum Fulgham, from North Augusta, S.C. placed 27
th with a time of 29:30.1 and sophomore
Philip Borozny finished 46
th with a time of 31:47.6
The overall team title was won by Kennesaw State with USCA finishing in seventh place, ahead of Columbus State, Georgia College and State University, UNC Pembroke and arch rival Augusta State University.
