AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken golf team finished third at the PBC Championship, which wrapped up Sunday afternoon.

Georgia Southwestern won the event after shooting eight-under par, 280, over the final 18 holes of play. North Georgia took second after posting a four-under par, 284, to finish at even par.

Head coach Michael Carlisle's team finished third after shooting five-over par, 293, during the third round of action. The squad finished the tournament at five-over par, 869.

Flagler was fourth (+15, 879) while Clayton State took fifth (+21, 885).

Lander (+23, 887), Columbus State (+25, 889), Georgia College & State (+40, 904) and Young Harris (+56, 920) rounded out the field.

Erik Olin finished in a tie for fourth place. He shot one-under par, 215, for the event en route to earning all-tournament team honors.

Rory McDonald O'Brien garnered a seventh-place finish at one-over par, 217. He shot a team-best 70 on Sunday.

Leonardo Bono claimed a ninth-place effort at two-over par, 218.

Karl Frisk accounted for a 17^th-place finish at six-over par, 222. Oscar Abrahamsson finished 34^th at 12-over par, 228.

The Pacers will await the NCAA press release on Apr. 28 to see if they earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
