AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken golf team soared into first place after shooting seven-under par, 281, during the second round of action at the PBC Championship.

Head coach Michael Carlisle's team's second-round score marks the lowest by any school in the tournament through two rounds of action.

The Pacers are at even-par, 576, through the first 36 holes of play.

Heading into the final 18 holes of play, USC Aiken holds a two-stroke lead over Georgia Southwestern and a four-stroke edge over North Georgia. Flagler is in fourth place (+8, 584) while Lander (+21, 597), Clayton State (+23, 599), Columbus State (+27, 603), Georgia College & State (+36, 612) and Young Harris (+41, 617) round out the field.

Erik Olin leads the tournament field after shooting four-under par, 68, during the second round of action. He stands at three-under par, 141, through 36 holes. He is one of three Pacers in the top 10 of the field.

Karl Frisk's two-under par, 70, put him at even par for the event (E, 144). Frisk is tied for fifth. Leonardo Bono posted a three-over par, 75, for the second round. He is tied for ninth at two-over par, 146.

Rory McDonald O'Brien shot two-under par, 70, on Saturday. He is tied for 12^th at the PBC Championship. O'Brien stands at three-over par, 147.

Oscar Abrahamsson shot one-over par, 73, for the second round. He is tied for 24^th. Abrahamsson is at seven-over par, 151, for the event.
