AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken golf team is set for the upcoming PBC Championship, which takes place in Augusta, Ga.

The Pacers have claimed PBC Championships in 1995, 1996, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2018.

Head coach Michael Carlisle's team is coming off a seventh-place performance at the Wofford Invitational. While there, Karl Frisk garnered a 14^th-place finish en route to earning PBC Golfer of the Week honors.

USC Aiken's group will consist of Oscar Abrahamsson, Leonardo Bono, Frisk, Rory McDonald O'Brien and Erik Olin.  

Olin leads the team with a 72.5 stroke average. He's played in 23 rounds, shooting par or better 11 times. Olin's low round of the year is 68. Olin has a top-five finish on the year and another top-10 effort.

Bono's scoring average of 72.7 is second on the squad. In 23 rounds, he has shot par or better nine times. Bono's best round of the season is a 69 while he has a pair of top-five finishes.

Frisk has seen time in 21 rounds, earning one top-five effort and another top-10 finish. His 73.3 stroke average is third on the team. Frisk's low round of 68 is tied for the team low.

O'Brien has seen time in 20 rounds, sporting a 73.9 stroke average. He has three rounds of par or better on the season – and his low round is 69.

Abrahamsson's played in all 29 rounds on the season. He has shot par or better seven times, including a low round of 69. Currently, Abrahamsson carries a scoring average of 73.9 on the season.

Last year, the Pacers finished seventh at the PBC Championship, shooting 13-over par, 865. Columbus State won the event at three-over par, 855. Abrahamsson notched a fifth-place finish at the tournament after shooting two-under par, 211.
