INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's basketball team is sixth in the latest NCAA Southeast Region Rankings, which were released Wednesday afternoon.
Records are through games played Sunday, Feb. 26. The first record indicates overall Division II record while the second record is against in-region opponents.
Head coach
Mark Miller's team completed the regular season at 18-10 overall. The team's in-region record was also 18-10. The Pacers wrapped up PBC play as the No. 3 seed in the PBC Tournament.
Catawba (24-4, 24-4) holds the top spot in the region rankings while Wingate (21-6, 21-6) and Georgia Southwestern (19-6, 17-6) is third. Lenoir-Rhyne (21-7, 21-7) is fourth while Clayton State (17-10, 17-10) is fifth.
USC Aiken is sixth in the rankings while North Georgia (17-9, 17-9), Carson-Newman (17-11, 17-11), Anderson (16-12, 16-12) and Belmont Abbey (22-4, 22-4) round out the top 10.
The NCAA Selection Show will be Sunday night.
