AUGUSTA, Ga. – University of South Carolina Aiken men's basketball standout
Jalen McCoy has been named the PBC Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.
McCoy, a native of Raleigh, N.C., guided the Pacers to a 2-0 week.
In the road win at Emmanuel, McCoy tied his season-high effort with a game-best 21 points. He also added six rebounds, an assist, a block and a steal. For the game, McCoy buried nine-of-15 from the floor.
In the win over Claflin, he tallied a game-best 18 points on eight-of-12 shooting. McCoy snagged eight boards, dished out two assists, had one block and a steal.
For the week, he averaged 19.5 points per game and seven boards a night while draining 17-of-27 from the floor.
McCoy has helped the Pacers to a 6-1 overall record on the season.
