AIKEN, S.C. – University of South Carolina Aiken men's basketball standout Jalen McCoy has been named the South Carolina Education Lottery Student-Athlete of the Month for November.

McCoy, a native of Raleigh, N.C., guided the Pacers to a 5-1 record in the month.

He posted a team-best 15.5 points per game while starting all six contests. He hit 40-of-78 shots from the floor (51.3 percent). His 40 field goals top the team and his field goal percentage leads the squad for anyone averaging 2.5 shots per game.

McCoy leads USC Aiken with four blocks.

He has a team-best 14 offensive rebounds and is third on the squad with 4.5 rebounds per game.

The South Carolina Education Lottery USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Month award honors one student-athlete each month from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort. Each month during the 2023-24 athletic year one winner will be chosen from an in-season sport.
