USC Aiken Climbs To No. 14 In Latest National Rankings

NORMAN, Okla. – The University of South Carolina Aiken golf team moved up to No. 14 in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll, which was recently released.

Head coach Michael Carlisle's team moved up from No. 18 into 14th place with 173 total points.

North Georgia sits at the top spot in the poll with 420 points. Lee is second with 368 points while Oklahoma Christian is No. 3 with 354 points. Lincoln Memorial (352 points) and Georgia Southwestern (340 points) round out the top five. 

The Pacers are coming off a sixth-place finish at the Furman Intercollegiate. During the fall portion of their slate, the USC Aiken took third at the Bearcat Fall Invitational, ninth at the Mizuno Intercollegiate and fifth at the Cateechee Fall Invitational.

The Pacers return to action Feb. 19-20 at the Wexford Invitational, which is hosted by Francis Marion.
