Dialing In From Distance
In the home victory over the Pioneers, USC Aiken was outstanding from behind the three-point stripe. The team combined to hit 12-of-23 (52.2 percent) from deep. In all, five student-athletes canned at least one three-point bucket.
Tyler Johnson led the way with four three-point baskets while
Tehree Horn and
Jameel Rideout each made three shots.
Rhyjon Blackwell and
Demitrios Dixon hit one shot apiece from distance.

In the victory over Tusculum, USC Aiken drained 12-of-23 from downtown 52.2 percent). The talented trio of
Tehree Horn,
Tyler Johnson and
Jameel Rideout combined to bury 10-of-16 from downtown (62.5 percent).
On The Court
In the wins over Tusculum and Limestone, rookie
Samarion Bond saw his first collegiate playing time. The 6-5 forward played a total of four minutes in the victories.
Four In Double Figures
USC Aiken produced four student-athletes that scored in double figures in the win over Limestone.
Tyler Johnson poured in a game-high 22 points while
Jalen McCoy added 16 points.
Jameel Rideout and
Tehree Horn chipped in 15 points and 13 points, respectively.
Strong Second Half
Trailing by three at halftime, head coach
Mark Vanderslice's team had an outstanding second half in the win over Limestone. The Pacers drained 17-of-32 from the floor (53.13 percent) while outscoring the Saints by four points en route to the 83-82 victory.
