AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's cross country team started the season with a fourth-place finish at the Augusta Jaguar Invitational Saturday morning.
Head coach
Marshall Leonard's team was led by
Olivia Robertson's 20
th-place effort of 24:12.28.
Ali Samaha posted a mark of 25:06.74 in her first collegiate race to finish 22
nd.
Freshman
Sirena Moreno notched a mark of 26:24.15 for 26
th place.
Madison Hart garnered a time of 27:21.14 for 29
th while
Diamond White was less than a second behind her at 27:22.94.
Kaitlynn Ford crossed the line in 27:26.79 for 31
st place.
Mia Maupin accounted for a time of 28:11.81 for 32
nd place.
Jourdan Gruber finished in 35
th place in her first career race.
The Pacers return to action Sept. 17 at the Julius Johnson Invitational, which is hosted by Mercer in Macon, Ga.
