AIKEN, S.C. – The No. 2 University of South Carolina Aiken golf team finished fourth at the 25
th Annual Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate.

Michael Carlisle's team was led by rookie
Oscar Abrahamsson and
Leonardo Bono. Each standout shot two-over par, 212. Abrahamsson's best round of the tournament was two-under par, 68, which occurred in the second round. Bono's best round was at one-under par, 69, which occurred on the first round of action.
Leo Johansson finished a stroke behind the dyad at three-over par, 213. He tied for 14
th. Johansson's best round of the event happened during the final 18 holes of play. Johansson closed out the tournament with a one-under par, 69.
Karl Frisk posted an even-par, 70, over the final round of play. He shot nine-over par, 219, for the event and tied for 34
th.
South Carolina won the tournament by shooting eight-under par, 832. Virginia was second after shooting two-over par, 842. VCU was third at 12-over par, 852. USC Aiken was four strokes behind VCU at 16-over par, 856.
The Pacers return to action on Monday, March 21, when they play at the Bobcat Invitational, which is hosted by Georgia College.
