BEECH ISLAND, S.C. – University of South Carolina Aiken women's cross country standout Sirena Moreno recently picked up the Sportsmanship Award, as announced by the league office.

Moreno was one of 10 student-athletes that was given the award.

A freshman from North Augusta, S.C., Moreno wrapped up her first postseason event with a time of 26:14.9 in the 5k event.  

The Pacers return to action Nov. 19 at the NCAA Regionals, which will be hosted by Wingate.
