FAIRBURN, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's cross country team finished 12
th at the Asics Invitational Saturday morning.
Head coach
Marshall Leonard's team was led by
Olivia Robertson's 5k time of 21:46.38. She finished in 71
st place.
Kaitlynn Ford posted the second-best mark on the squad, edging
Ali Samaha. Ford was 90
th while Samaha was 91
st. Ford finished the race in 23:36.52 while Samaha's mark was 23:42.49.
Madison Hart was not far behind, crossing in 23:55.44. She was 93
rd.
Millan Simmons posted a mark of 24:02.33 at the event. She was 94
th.
Mia Maupin's time of 27:07.94 was good enough for 100
th place.
Every student-athlete ran a collegiate personal-best mark.
Georgia Tech won the event.
The Pacers return to action Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Akiah McMillan Invitational, which is hosted by Columbia College.
