AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken, in conjunction with head women's soccer coach
Tina Murphy, is pleased to announce the signing of three student-athletes for the incoming 2021-22 academic year.
Sabrina Lowy,
Jade Munson and
Annabeth Trotter will continue their education and playing careers at USC Aiken this fall.
Lowy is a 5-5 defender from Weston, Fla. She attended Archbishop McCarthy H.S. and played club ball for Sunrise Sting ECRL.
"Sabrina is an endurant and versatile defensive midfielder," Murphy said. "She is composed in possession."
Munson is a 5-5 defender from Parkland, Fla. She attended Saint Thomas Aquinas H.S. and was a four-year captain. Munson played club ball for Sunrise Sting ECRL.
"Jade is a speedy and skillful center back," Murphy stated. "She can connect precision passes to build-up."
Trotter is a 5-4 midfielder from Asheboro, N.C. She attended Asheboro H.S. and played club ball for Piedmont Triad Football Club. At Asheboro H.S., Trotter posted 25 goals and dished out 27 assists during her career. She garnered all-conference accolades three times.
"Annabeth is a highly active midfielder," Murphy said. "She can stick tackles, complete creative passes and score goals."
The trio marks the first signees under Murphy, who began her duties with USC Aiken in April.
