PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of South Carolina Aiken golf team finished 10th at the Argonaut Invitational.
The tournament was hosted by the University of West Florida. The host Argonauts won the event while Lincoln Memorial and Lee were second and third, respectively.
Head coach
Michael Carlisle's team was led by
Leo Johansson's eighth-place finish. He registered a three-under par, 213, for the event. Johansson shot 71-69-73 at the tournament.
Leonardo Bono took 14
th place after a solid one-under par, 215. He shot two-under par, 70, over the final 18 holes of competition en route to his three-round one-under par.
USC Aiken shot 23-over par, 887, at the tournament. The squad shot 292-293-302 for the 54-hole event.
Thirteen of the 15 teams were ranked in the top 30 of Division II.
The Pacers return to action Apr. 16-18 at the PBC Tournament in St. Augustine, Fla.
