CHARLESTON, S.C. – The nationally-ranked University of South Carolina Aiken golf team tied for 12
th place at the Daniel Island Intercollegiate, which wrapped up Monday afternoon.
The 20-team event was hosted by Charleston Southern. The tournament was played on a par-72, 7,424-yard course.
Head coach
Michael Carlisle's team tied with Jacksonville State. The Pacers finished 33-over par, 897.
Leo Johansson finished 14
th at the event to lead the way for USC Aiken. He shot one-over par, 217.
Leonardo Bono took 45
th after shooting eight-over par, 78.
The Pacers return to action Feb. 21-22 for the Wexford Invitational in Hilton Head Island, S.C. The tournament is hosted by Francis Marion.
