AUGUSTA, Ga. – University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball standout Alie Smith has been named the PBC Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.

Smith, a senior from St. Johns, Fla., guided the Pacers to a 1-0 week in the team's lone contest.

In the 3-1 win over Lander, Smith slammed home a match-high 14 kills. She also accounted for 16 digs, marking her 12th double-double of the season. 

Smith also served up three aces and had an assist. In all, she netted a match-high 17 points.

It marks the fourth time this season Smith has picked up PBC Player of the Week accolades.
