After earning an at-large bid to the NCAA South/Southeast Regional, head coach
Michael Carlisle's team saw itself in ninth place after the first day of the ever-tough regional. The regional, which featured numerous top-25 schools, allowed only seven schools the opportunity to advance to the national tournament.
After a solid second day, USC Aiken moved to No. 8 and was only a stroke out of seventh. An outstanding round with a score of 295 pushed the Pacers into a fifth-place tie, sending the team to the national tournament for the first time since the 2014-15 campaign.

The event is hosted by Rollins and is played at the Mission Inn Resort & Club on the El Campeon Golf Course. The course is 6,960 yards and par is 72.
Senior
August Lindvall fired an opening-round three-under par, 69, and is tied for first. After shooting even par the first two holes, he bogeyed the par-four, No. 3. However, he quickly evened his score by firing a birdie on hole No. 4. Lindvall opened the back nine with birdies on holes No. 10 and No. 11 before finishing the day with another birdie on No. 14. Lindvall is tied with a pair of Lincoln Memorial student-athletes atop the leaderboard.
Dan Sheehan posted a two-over par, 74. He was five-over par after the front nine, but finished the day with birdies on No. 11, No. 14 and No. 17. Sheehan is tied for 21
st.

Michael Carlisle's team is tied with Saint Leo after shooting an opening-round 16-over par, 304. LMU is first (285) while Lynn and West Florida are tied for second (288).

August Lindvall leads the way for the Pacers. After opening with a three-under par, 69, he posted a four-over par, 76 on Friday. Lindvall's two-round score is 145. He is currently in ninth place.
Dan Sheehan is 24
th after registering rounds of 74-75. He is five-over par through 36 holes of competition.
West Florida and Lynn are tied for first. Lincoln Memorial, Florida Southern is fourth. Barry and Columbus State are tied for fifth.

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – The University of South Carolina Aiken golf team finished in a tie for fifth on the final day of competition at the NCAA South/Southeast Region Championship, earning a berth at the NCAA Championships May 20-24 in Daniels, W. Va.
The Pacers will compete at the finals at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, W. Va. USC Aiken won its third national championship in Daniels, W. Va., during the 2005-06 season.

Michael Carlisle's team started the day in eighth place – and a stroke behind the top seven – but finished with a three-round score of 895. The Pacers shot seven-over par, 295, on the final day of play. The squad concluded the tournament shooting 31-over par. The seven squads that advanced are Lynn, West Florida, Barry, Florida Southern, USC Aiken, Lincoln Memorial and Saint Leo.
August Lindvall led the way, taking seventh place. He shot two-over par, 218, for the event.
Dan Sheehan garnered a top-25 finish by placing 23
