NORMAN, Okla. – Former University of South Carolina Aiken golf standout
August Lindvall has been named a Division II PING All-American.
Lindvall, a native of Bastad, Sweden, garnered honorable mention All-America accolades.
Lindvall led the Pacers with a 72.8 stroke average. He accounted for three top-10 finishes on the year, including a pair of top-five efforts. Lindvall posted a second-place finish at the Jay Jennison Cup and a fifth-place effort at the Furman Intercollegiate.
For the season, Lindvall posted 12 rounds of par or better, including a season-best round of 66 at the Jay Jennison Cup.
He wrapped up his career in fine fashion, taking seventh at the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional before taking 16
th at the NCAA Championship, helping USC Aiken to a 12
th-place finish.
