Throughout the 2018-19 season, the USC Aiken Athletic Communications office will provide weekly notes, giving all of Pacer Nation an in-depth look at the team. 

A Common Occurrence

Redshirt-sophomore Kwajelin Farrar picked up a double-double in the win at Young Harris. It marked her 26^th career double-double for the Pacers. Farrar put up 14 double-double efforts as a freshman and has 12 this season, marking the two highest single-season totals for a Pacer since the 2000-01 season. 

Finishing The Season Strong

The USC Aiken women's basketball team came on strong, going 7-3 over the final 10 games of the season. That helped propel the Pacers into the No. 5 spot in the upcoming PBC Tournament.

Big Second Half 

Head coach Mark Miller's team trailed Young Harris 30-26 at the break. However, the team responded with a monster second half, registering 40 points while holding the home team to a mere 23 markers.

Strong Defense

In the strong second half by the Pacers, the defense was outstanding. Head coach Mark Miller's team limited the Mountain Lions to a mere 26.9 percent from the floor over the final 20 minutes of action. The three-point defense was even better, limiting the home squad to 22.7 percent shooting from distance during that time.

Back In The Postseason

The USC Aiken women's basketball team is back in the postseason after missing out on the league tournament a season ago. The Pacers are looking for their first postseason win since a 59-54 victory over Clayton State in the PBC Quarterfinal on Feb. 28, 2015 – a game that was hosted by USC Aiken. 

Inside The Numbers

USC Aiken hosts a PBC Tournament game on Wednesday, March 6. Since moving to Division II, the Pacers are 116-111 (51.1 percent) in Wednesday contests. During the same time, the squad is 1-3 on March 6 (this section will be updated after the March 6 game).

Against The Opponent 

USC Aiken travels to Clayton State on Wednesday, March 6 for the PBC Tournament Quarterfinal. The Pacers trail the all-time series 23-14 against the Lakers (this section will be updated after the March 6 game).
