Melyk Makes Things Happen
Senior
Melyk Taouil had her highest-scoring game of her career in the season-opening contest against Carson-Newman. She connected on eight-of-13 from the floor to go along with four charity tosses en route to establishing her career-high 21 points.
Double-Doubles Becoming Routine

Farrar tallied 17 points and 13 rebounds to go along with four assists in the season-opening game against Carson-Newman. Farrar notched 14 points, 10 rebounds and three steals in the game against Lenoir-Rhyne. The double-doubles upped her career total to 28.
Leading The League
Kwajelin Farrar leads the PBC after the opening weekend with her 11.5 rebounds per contest. Nobody else in the league is pulling down more than 9.0 boards per outing.
Kanna Can Shoot It
USC Aiken redshirt-junior
Kanna Suzuki can light it up from downtown. After hitting a shot from distance against Carson-Newman, Suzuki canned three-of-six from three-point land against Lenoir-Rhyne. She's hitting .364. from deep on the year.
Gardner's A Gamer
Rookie
Chesney Gardner is averaging six points and 3.5 rebounds per game through her first two contests against tough competition. However, she is averaging 30 minutes a game and has played well. Gardner upped her rebounding total from the first game of her career to the second while also limiting her turnovers. She also increased her field goal percentage while playing in a tough venue.
Big Mack Attack
Newcomer
Alexis Mack had a solid opening weekend for USC Aiken. The sophomore averaged 11 points a game while snagging three rebounds a contest. Mack hit eight-of-18 from the floor (44.4 percent) and five-of-eight (62.5 percent) from the charity stripe.
