AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's cross country team earned a third-place finish at the Garden City Meet Friday.

Head coach Lauren Etheridge's team was led by Teresa Franco Dias in a time of 19:18.16 on the course. She took 11th.

Courtney Strauss was right behind her, taking 12th in 19:18.45. Kendra Zavala, Iree Simon and Rebecca Prine took home top-15 finishes.

The Pacers return to action Saturday at the PBC Championship, which is hosted by UNC Pembroke. The meet is slated to start at 9 a.m.
