AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken, in conjunction with head golf coach Michael Carlisle, is pleased to announce the addition of Björn Rosengren.  

Rosengren will continue his academic and athletic career with USC Aiken beginning in the fall of 2018.

A 6-3 native of Halmstad, Sweden, Rosengren played for the Halmstad Golf Club. He notched a championship at the JMI Gräppås Junior Open with scores of 71-72. Rosengren accounted for a second-place effort at the Skandia Junior Open (72-68-70). He posted a pair of third-place finishes at the Skandia Tour Elit #1 (75-72-71) and the JMI Ringenäs Junior Open (68-74). Rosengren garnered a fourth-place effort at the JMI Final (69-70-70).

"We are excited to have Björn as part of the USC Aiken team," Carlisle stated. "He is a tremendous student-athlete that has had an outstanding career thus far. Björn has a complete game and has the potential to do great things during his time at USC Aiken."
