SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The USC Aiken cross country team competed at the 2007 Eye Opener Invitational Saturday morning, but due to injuries to multiple runners were unable to compete as a team. Four runners ran in the meet as individuals, led by freshman
Nicole Maitland's finish in 21st with a time of 20:31.
Sophomore
Jani Linde was the next USCA runner to cross the finish line, finishing 44th with a time of 21:27. Juniors
Renea Marshall and Alley Dachenhaus rounded out the Lady Pacer participants, as Marshall finished 50th and Dachenhaus 68th with times of 21:40 and 22:28 respectively.
Milligan College won the team event, dominating the field and finishing 76 points shy of their closest competitor.Â
The Lady Pacers will hope to shake off the injuries in time for the Georgia State Invitational on Saturday, September 15, in Atlanta, Ga.
