SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Armstrong Atlantic State University captured the USC Spartanburg Invitational with 45 points on Saturday as USC Aiken placed ninth out of the 11-team field.
Less than 24 hours after finishing sixth at the Coker College Invitational, the Lady Pacers accumulated 222 points to out-distance Columbia College and Catawba College.
Nikki Garland of AASU was the individual winner of the 6K race with a time of 22:38.52. USCA's top finisher was
Kelly Shemansky who came in 26th at 28:29.17.
Bridget Brennan was 42nd in the 66-runner field with a time of 30:01.31.

Sara Donnelly, and Nikki DuPont placed 59th, 65th, and 66th respectively.
USCA will next compete in a dual meet with Augusta State University on Thursday, September 28 at 5:00 PM in Aiken.
