Box Score MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga.--Georgia College and State University's (11-4, 8-1 PBC) Jeremy Mayweather had 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds en route to their 77-63 victory over the USC Aiken (3-12, 1-8 PBC) Pacers. GC&SU holds the overall series record with the Pacers 19-14 and has won during the last four-straight meetings. The Bobcats, currently tied for first in the PBC, are riding a three-game conference win streak. In the first four minutes of play it looked like the number one team in the PBC was getting a run for their money by the Pacers, who kept the game close, with no team leading by more than two and the lead exchanging hands three times. At 16:20 on the clock, however, Bryan Harrison would feed the ball outside to Ronnie Dennis who knocked back a three and sent the Bobcats on an 11-4 over the next three minutes. 

A three-pointer by the Pacers' Richard Blocker at 12:18 got USCA back within six. That would prove to be short-lived as a jumper by GC&SU's Aaron Gibbs would kick start a fierce offense that would go on a 21-9 run and put the Pacers in a big 21-point hole going into the second half.

Although the Pacers ride a deep bench, every player but one had at least 11 minutes, failure to make field goals drop in the first half proved costly for the remainder of the game. USC Aiken converted only 30.0 percent from the field in the first half while the Bobcats hit 47.1 percent.

Down 21, the Pacers came out in the second showing much better offense and kept the Bobcats from extending their lead by more than 22 points. The Pacers' Arnold Coates stole the ball at 11:38 and converted it to a quick jumper down the court to send USCA on a 9-4 run, getting them with 15 points. 

Although USC Aiken shot the ball much better in the second half, 56 percent from the field, they would not be able to get much closer through the remainder of the game. The Bobcats kept the momentum on their side of the court and went on to win it 77-63. 

Clark, Harrison and Jeremy Mayweather contributed to nearly all of the Bobcat offense with 46 of the team's 77 points. Mayweather also dominated on defense with 11 rebounds. 

The Pacers' Josh Poston had 16 points, just two shy of his season high, and added four rebounds. Richard Glover tabbed his season-high with 11 points and also pulled down three rebounds. Poston and Glover were the only two Pacers to post double-figure points.

USC Aiken will host non-conference opponent North Greenville on Wednesday, January 25 at 7:30 p.m. The Bobcats will travel to face Columbus State on Wednesday as well at 7:30 p.m.
