Box Score BANNER ELK, NC--Lees-McRae (10-5-0) scored four second-half goals en route to a 4-0 non-conference men's soccer win over USC Aiken (0-9-0) on Wednesday night in Banner Elk, NC. The Bobcats evened the all-time series with the Pacers at 2-2-0.
Tim Bender came off the LMC bench in the second half to tally two goals on three shots. His first came in the 50th minute off an Armando Limon cross. Bender then made it 2-0 when he scored in the 65th minute.
Mark Somerville added a marker in the 71st minute on a pass from Nick Velasquez. In the 80th minute, Michael Shope closed the scoring with an unassisted goal.

Peter Calabrese recorded seven saves. He continues to lead the Peach Belt Conference in saves per match (6.89).

Plamen Peev fired both of the Pacers' shots on goal.
USC Aiken will host 10th ranked UNC Pembroke on Saturday, November 1 at 7:00 PM. This will be the final regular season match for the Pacers and will be "Senior Night".
