Box Score AIKEN, SC--USC Aiken was edged by Clayton College & State, 2-1, today in a match-up of Peach Belt Conference men's soccer teams at "Pacer Pit" on the USCA campus in Aiken, S.C. Shaun Baddock's goal for the Lakers with just over 18 minutes left in the game proved to be the difference. USCA falls to 0-8-0 on the season and 0-5-0 in PBC play. Clayton State improves to 7-4-1 overall and 2-2-0 in league action.

Mamadou Ndoye (Dakar, Senegal) started the scoring early with a goal for the Pacers one minute into the game. Kevon Aberdeen (Morvant, Trinidad) assisted on the play.

The Lakers tied the match on Pa'Alasan Jahumpa's goal at the 38:06 mark. The game remained tied until Baddock's game winner in the second period.

USCA was out shot 10-4 by CCSU. The two teams combined for 34 fouls and nine yellow cards.

The Pacers will finish up their non-conference schedule on Wednesday when they travel to Banner-Elk, N.C., to face Lees-McRae College. The match will begin at 7:30 p.m.
