Box Score ORLANDO, FLA.--USC Aiken (0-1) opened the Mike Brandt era on a rocky note Friday falling 75-63 to Southwest State (1-0) in the opening game of the 6th Annual Disney Tip-Off Classic in Orlando, FL.  Brandt, in his first season with the Lady Pacers, was making his NCAA debut.

The seventh-ranked Lady Pacers fell behind early 20-5 in the first half and never fully recovered.  The Mustangs, ranked 10th in one preseason poll, led 41-21 at the half.

After extending their lead to 23 in the second half, the Lady Pacers made a run and cut the margin to 14 with the ball with 16:36 to play.  But two big three pointers pushed the Mustang lead back to 20.

USCA made a late run in the closing minutes to set the final margin at 75-63.
