FLORENCE, SC - With the top four finishers, USC Aiken ran away with the victory over host Francis Marion 16-43 in the 12th Annual Patriot Cross Country Festival Saturday morning.  All seven Lady Pacers' runners recorded their fastest times of the season.

Kelley Shemansky, Veronica Derico, Faith Zimmerman, and April Storey  all finished within 28 seconds of each other to finish ahead of the rest of the field. Bridget Brennan and Ericka Bennett placed sixth and seventh, respectively, for the Lady Pacers while Lacey Gunther improved her best time by three minutes.

The victory thrusts into the Peach Belt Conference Championships Saturday, October 20 hosted by Clayton College & State in Morrow, GA.
