AIKEN, S.C. – Clayton College & State received a header from Dan Lindemann in the 107
th minute to give the Lakers a 3-2 victory over USC Aiken in PBAC men's soccer action on Wednesday.
USC Aiken remains in seventh place in the PBC ahead of CC&SU, but the Lakers still have one game remaining against #2 USC Spartanburg.
CC&SU got on the board when Josh Grenier hit Lindemann in the 24
th minute. USC Aiken came back 10 minutes later when
Brian Wilson spotted
John Dobbs off a corner kick for his fourth goal of the season. Two minutes later Allen O'Brien found the back of the net to give the Lakers a 2-1 lead, which held until halftime.
USC Aiken evened up the score in the 70
th minute when Dobbs scored his second goal of the game off four deflections in front of the Lakers' goal.
In the second overtime Aaron Fox found Lindemann for a beautiful header to end the game off a direct kick. For the game CC&SU otushot USCA 25-21.
