AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is men's basketball standout Jalen McCoy.

A native of Raleigh, N.C., McCoy led the Pacers to a 1-0 week.

In the 109-65 win over Washington Adventist, McCoy poured in a team-high 20 points in just 21 minutes of action.

He canned eight-of-11 field goals and made four free throws. McCoy snagged four boards while helping USCA to the seventh-most points scored in the program's Division II history.

He leads the team and is averaging 24 points per game. The 20-point effort marked the second time this season McCoy's scored at least 20 points in a game.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
