AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is softball standout Austyn Dixon.

Dixon, a native of Kings Mountain, N.C., had a stellar week for the Pacers.

She hit .375 and wrapped out six hits, including four that went for extra bases. Dixon crushed three home runs, had a double, drove in four and scored four times.

She posted a slugging percentage of 1.000 and sported a .412 on-base percentage. In the field, Dixon had 33 putouts and three assists without making an error.

She had a solo home run at Emmanuel and put together a pair of multi-hit games at Augusta. Dixon crushed a home run in each of the final two games of the series and has a team-best 11 round-trippers on the year.
